Can I freeze these?

Fuming! Started an Asda delivery yesterday, put a few bits on and then just went and did a shop in Sainsbury’s.
Obviously I’ve forgotten about the Asda delivery, can I freeze these things until I need them next week?!
So annoying as the Sainsbury’s shop was a stretch money wise yesterday and now I’ve got £30 quids worth of stuff I don’t even need right now!

Can I freeze these?

The bread you can.

You can buy frozen banana. Oddly, maybe if you freeze it with the skin on and then peel when ready to eat. I think it will go black but the inside might be ok. Or it might go black.

The strawberries and apple will go mushy.

Yes you can freeze all of those. Might be best to stew the apple first though and chop banana.

Lay the straw berries out on a baking tray to freeze them, then bag them once frozen. They do go softer on defrosting. I’ve frozen bananas by peeling, chopping into chunks and then freezing them layed out on a tray before bagging once frozen. They didn’t go black. Don’t know about freezing in their skin. I’ve never frozen apples, sorry.

Apples last ages. Keep in a cool place until next week.

The apples will be fine, store them in the fridge. The rest you can freeze.

I would freeze all apart from the apple unless you stew them first. For the bananas peel first. I wrap mine in cling film and then freeze. They are great for smoothies, banana bread etc.
I freeze all my bread and just take out the amount I need at the time. Saves so much waste.

I've frozen bananas and strawberries before when I've bought too many, but only to use in smoothies when defrosted. Peel and cut the bananas in half, lay loosely side by side in a freezer bag or container so they're easy to separate later. Strawberries, wash and dry, spread in loose layer in freezer bag or container for same reason as bananas.

If there's no bruising on the apples they will be fine in the salad drawer in the fridge.

Bread can go in the freezer as is, or maybe bag it up in two halves. I often freeze wraps. They stick together if put in the freezer flat though. I open the bag, roll each individual wrap into a tube and put them back in the original bag to freeze. You can just take out whatever you want to use that way and they defrost quite quickly.

Not sure about the pizza, I'd probably put it in the freezer and hope for the best.

If you really want to freeze the apples, don't stew them. Peel core and slice them, then lie the slices out on a tray, and open freeze them. Bag them up after they're frozen. This way they don't stick together.
You can use apple slices in cakes, smoothies, anywhere they'll get whizzed or cooked.

But they should last a few weeks in your fruit bowl anyway.

I freeze bananas whole because the flesh goes brown otherwise. You can easily cut the skin off once you need one, and they cut easily, even when frozen. If you've got a food processor, blitz frozen bananas with a little cream to make a lovely banana ice cream. Or dont freeze them and make banana loaf when they go brown.

You can freeze strawberries but they wont retain their texture when defrosted so will need to be used in smoothies or you could blitz once frozen with some icing sugar to make a sorbet.

Bread and pizza freezes fine.
