Would you let prospective Fb marketplace buyers try on boots?

If someone comes to your house who wants to buy boots you've listed, would you be happy for them to try them on before buying?

Yes of course. Is it the hygiene aspect or being worried they might do a runner? You could always offer a pair of socks to wear and / or keep their own shoes hostage while they try yours on 😁

No. Couldn't be doing with the hassle. EBay and post em

It's hygiene that bothers me the most.

I would eBay them but that's even more hassle and vinted is wayyy too much hassle with no printer

You do realise that most boots have probably been tried on in the shop before you buy them don't you? And if you are selling them I presume you won't be wearing them again yourself anyway?

Depends. If the person looked a bit grubby or it was obvious their trotters were not going to fit them I would refuse.

Yes I do realise some shoes in shops have been tried on, but they're not my shoes they're trying 🤪

They wouldn't get the chance to try on with eBay or vinted, but equally I get that might be why they're choosing to buy from marketplace.
