Need holiday recommendations!

Without going into a massive backstory, we want to take our two kids (tween and Older teen) abroad next summer. Apart from a few trips via ferry when they were younger we haven’t been abroad with them.
i hate flying (phobic) but am committed to biting the bullet for this trip as want a really special holiday before my older DC aged 16 is too old to want to come along!
its years since I went anywhere really and my DH isn’t well travelled.
hoping the hive mind of MN can give us a few good suggestions!

Criteria:

No more than 3 hours flight from uk
Warm /hot
Must be all inclusive.
High quality four or five star low rise accommodation, with some stuff for kids to do on site (they both enjoy swimming for example).
Some stuff to do locally or on day trips would be fantastic.
totally flexible in budget!

Sorry, I know this is outside your parameters but I love the Seaside Jameos Playa in Lanzarote.

Excellent food, 2 pools, tennis spa etc.

But a 4 hr flight

I would say Corfu but if you do all inclusive make sure you eat out a bit as well as local restaurants and food are amazing.

Also check out Majorca Porto Pollensa

I would recommend Crete, although it's slightly further at a 4 hour flight.

We did a jeep safari up into the gorges and down to the Libean sea, a daytrip to Spinalonga and swam in thr ocean on the way back and hired a car and drove to Matala to see the caves.

We stayed in an apartment so can't comment on hotels, but I am sure there are loads of amazing ones.

3 hour flight you're basically limiting yourself to Spain/Portugal which are much easier likely to tick all your boxes than a 4 hour flight.

If this is their one special holiday then you need to drop the 3 hour limit.

Why all inclusive? It’s harder to find decent ones that aren’t in high rise resorts.

costa del sol will have all inc 5 star hotels and there’s loads of day trips you can do. You’d need to stay in estepona to avoid high rises though.

Balearics would also fit, I’d guess Majorca and Ibiza would be better for teens.

throwing out another idea- interrailing? They’re a great age to do it.

3 hours flying ai you are looking at Spain and Portugal. I've only done the canaries which is a little further but we liked the TUI Magic Life hotel which they have elsewhere in Europe too - very simple for the inexperienced traveller as everything was the same company, you are met at the airport and if the plane is late (has happened to me) the connecting transport is automatically rearranged. This brand had lots of sports so ideal for those ages, was low rise in fuerterentura at least, several pools, multiple restaurants included, everyone was ai so no wristband, buses stopped outside to various places and car hire was inside the hotel. I didn't have kids with me (grown up) but plenty of families. Not sure how much extra the cycling was (they took out tours daily) but archery, aerobics tennis and darts were included, plenty of other sports but I'm not very sporty!
