Why do people hate rich/ thin people

I’m all for equality and body positivity but recently I’ve noticed in my circle that people seem to really really hate rich people and people who are thin/ actively dieting? I want to dismiss it as jealousy but surely it can’t be that simple?

I don’t understand the weight one at all. I don’t see why you would hate anyone for being thin. I think that’s rather nasty. Rich is different-because rich can sometimes -I stress sometimes - go along with dodgy work practices, inherited wealth, tax-dodging, smug, unfair government policies, the growing gap between the rich and poor.

@BirmaBrite Exactly, thin and slim are not the same thing. I hope no-one hated me when I was thin, I wasn't well! If anyone was jealous then they must have had their own issues.
