universal credit staff members hanging up on you when you phone

hi i phoned universal credit three times the other day as im due a reassessment as im in the limited for work group i asked when my year was up as i hadnt been notified and when id likely be re assessed the first twice i asked this i was cut off after the first few seconds of getting through to somebody the third time somebody did speak to me but with an attitude after i had said that i wasnt happy i had been cut off the previous twice she had claimed there must be a problem with phone lines but seems strange nothing happend that time so im just wondering is it a comon occurance for the staff to hang up on people as i believe thats what happened

She didn’t ask how much you get paid. It is becoming extremely clear who the problem in this situation is. I take it you always have someone else to blame?

there was nothing usefull about the comment theres clearly been an attitude in some of the responses ive had and im answering in kind seems strange that im being lectured on my attitude when people have spoken to me like dirt then make me out to be the jerk when i do the same back like i said earlier respects a two way thing if your going to talk down to me and disrepect me on here your going to get it back

You’re right, and for that I am sorry. And I am sorry that you are in a situation that for you is obviously causing some stress. But people provided genuine useful information and you responded rudely, so it does make me wonder if you are often looking for ‘attitude’ from people when there is none and because of that you are the one speaking in that way.

I personally think letting you know reassessments are on hold is very helpful as it means you don't waste any more time trying to chase them up.

You're clearly frustrated and I can see why but that poster was genuinely just trying to help.

Hopefully their information means you can stop stressing for a little while about payments stopping.

Are re-assements really on hold? I know of several people who have had them recently.
I have not had one for 3 years now, and am scared to death about getting a text about a message in my UC journal.

Tbh I wouldn't take the word of a random on the internet about that. Definitely check it for yourself

@XenoBitch reassessments for UC are on hold. Not new assessments though.
