Is my pay based off weeks 17-25 or is it based of my Sept and Oct payslips? Because I read the former but had an email from payroll saying it's the latter and I'm wondering if it's wrong

I'm now week 24 so still in that period but my payslips are all done so maybe I'm not? I don't want to take today as sick if it'll mess up my pay but don't want to take it as annual leave if I don't need to as I'm unwell

Does being sick affect your pay? (Sorry, that’s obviously a ‘yes’, but that’s a surprise to me.)

Yes hyperemesis used up all of my full pay sick Sad

Pregnancy-related sickness shouldn’t be part of your general sickness record.

I know it doesn't affect my record but it still comes out of my full pay/half pay entitlement doesn't it? I get a certain amount of each then it becomes SSP?

Googling would suggest you get six months at full pay?

poopaloobop · 24/10/2022 08:15

You get 6 months of full pay before going down to half pay. Have you had 6 months off??

If you are monthly paid it will be based off the last 2 payslips leading up to your week 25.
