At the moment it’s toast, thickly spread with plain Philadelphia. Tried own brand soft cheeses but they’re not the same.

Tacos. I just inhaled three mushroom & black bean tacos that my partner didn't eat last night. With an absolute pile of guacamole, cheese and sour cream.

I've gone a bit taco crazy – any filling and carbs?! Sign me up.

White munchies

Jacket potato, with butter, cheese and beans.
Thick white toast with sea salt butter,
Aldi mountain bar, like a toblerone but cheaper and actually nicer.

Injera, a sour fermented pancake-like flatbread with a slightly spongy texture. OMG there is an Ethiopia stall at our local farmers market and i cant get enough

Cream of tomato soup, with a sprinkle of cheddar on the soup (extra mature or vintage) a bacon roll on the side (white bread, brown sauce, 3 rashers) and some pickled onions.

Also Lincolnshire sausages dipped in brown sauce.

Baked potatoes with chilli sauce, grated cheese and jalapeños, plus some spring onion if we have any.

Cheesy mushrooms

Kimchi; because it’s spicy and tangy it seems to cut through my perpetual cold/blocked sinuses and I swear it must be doing me good. Made this kimchi and tofu stew on repeat.

Trail mix from asda and dried prunes!

dudsville · 30/11/2022 21:18

Urgh, nothing, and it's sad and disappointing. I had covid recently for the first time. It was v mild for me. However, I've felt frequently nauseous since becoming ill, most days, and i can't finish most meals.

CheapWine · 30/11/2022 21:23

Any food. I’m on a diet, two stone down, so all food tastes amazing, I could eat a bowl of carrots and think they were delicious.

Smoked bacon sandwiches. My teen has made one every morning for the past few days and I just can't resist after smelling his. 7 mins on roast in the Ninja, the fat isn't chewy but not crisp either, golden brown bits... best part of my morning 🤣

@CheapWine well done! That's amazing progress!

FinallyHere · 30/11/2022 21:44

Greek salad and lamb chops.

My imagination adds in the blue, blue Greek sky and bright sunshine. And bottle glass of ouzo.

Devonchills · 30/11/2022 22:47

Jamie Oliver's silky cheese omelette.
I watched a video on how to make it, omg so good, quick and healthy too!

Bumpsadaisie · 30/11/2022 23:16

I've gone a bit bonkers for Tesco tinned lentil and bacon soup.

I buy three cans a week but today I ate two tins in a row

Sounds to me like your teen needs to be making two every morning!!

M&S Chicken &Vegetable Soup (in a tub in the chiller section). With part-baked sourdough rolls chucked in the air fryer. Blooming lovely on cold, grey, drizzly days.

DuchessDandelion · 01/12/2022 02:44

Wine Gums - although they don't count as food Confused

realsavagelike · 01/12/2022 06:58

Salsa on everything

Bexx87 · 30/06/2023 16:05

Ranch dressing. I had never tasted it till I saw it in Asda the other week and now it's ruined my diet.
