All this talk of chutney reminds me of an eye watering evening many years ago with the colonel and a jar of aubergine chutney in the vicinity of Gunnersbury Park station. Ah, happy memories.

Ah, RomanMum, was that the legendary annual MC picnic and all-in wrestling match? The Colonel’s sporting prowess was legendary, although only the novices would be rash enough to challenge him.
