Can a court order that my sons father only contact me via email rather than WhatsApp?

Just that really. I am tired of nasty messages.

No judge would order daily updates to ex about your dc.

My ex is often very abusive to me via WhatsApp. After a while I just started blocking him and communicating via email. I then typically unblock, it’s fine for a while then the cycle starts again. We have now been separated for 10 years so it bothers me much less now and the kids are a bit older so less need to communicate (though unfortunately we still need to …but blocking makes you feel much better - I’d recommend it).

I use Our family wizard parenting app.
It's a legally recognised communication tool.
My ex is also a tool. The app has helped me get absolute silence from him. Worth every penny!!!

Thank you! I’ll have a look at this!

@Cheekylittle88 It’s got a shared calendar, useful for ex to see dates and times, no need to ask

Shared parenting app is a good idea. As above you definitely don't need to have what's app. It will be so freeing not feeling stressed every time you hear your phone ping once he's blocked. How old is ds? Dc communicate with their dad themselves now and I don't get involved. It's great
