Toilet sign on downstairs loo….weird?

Is it a bit weird to put a loo sign on downstairs loo? It’s not immediately obvious which door it is….but most people who visit know where it is. And anyone else would ask….?

We have one because it’s a three story house with a huge hallway and 6 identical doors !

Could you replace the door with a fully glazed one? Then people can easily see where it is. Saves all that mucking about with a twee sign.

If that was suggested by anybody else, I'd wonder if they hadn't quite thought that one through

Maybe you could have a theatre-type safety curtain....!

I have one in my flat, just to make sure that visitors know where it is and me when I come back from a night out drunk

I've just put a cast iron one on ours and I love it. It suits the style of house though. I wouldn't do it in a modern semi.

I don't, I get too much amusment from people getting it wrong and finding a face full of coats when they pick the wrong door 😂

Our downstairs loo is known as "The Depository"
No sign but now I want one.
