Could someone sensible, organised and fairly normal please copy and paste their weekly online shopping list because I’m useless!

So fed up of not having enough food and having to do several top up shops or getting too much and having to stick a load of meat in the freezer.
id love a weekly online shop to last the week without any waste.
We are a family of 4 (kids are pre teens)
I try to feed us quite healthily but a fair amount of beige creeps in.
I know noones will be a perfect match but it would be a start.

I have a system, if that helps?

Plan evening meals around main ingredients, including some leftovers (so start with fish, chicken, veg, eggs, pasta as a main and work out what you need to make a meal).

Use leftovers for lunch where possible, add in makings of soup and sandwiches for lunch.

Usual breakfast stuff.

Check diary for any extras like packed lunches unexpectedly needed, people visiting, someone not being there for a meal and adjust accordingly.

I do the same as @BookedOut plan the evening meals for the week then I might shuffle days around depending on BB4 dates and to use the fresh veg at the start of the week then maybe frozen / tinned stuff later in the week. It depends who needs lunch (if anyone) but either make extra dinner to reheat or things like soup, eggs or beans on toast for anyone eating at home. Then check cupboards for breakfast cereals, snacks, milk, bread, tea bags etc.

I have 31 dated recipes that I keep in a folder. If I'm shopping for w/c 17 Oct, I pull out the 17-24 recipes and add the ingredients to my shopping list.
I've generally got a good idea of what ingredients I already have in the cupboard eg herbs, couscous etc.
Then I add on breakfast and lunches. We always have the same every day, we're not very exiting!
Snacks and household items (washing powder, deodorant).
Drinks - coffee, milk, squash etc.
one freezer meal 'just in case' eg frozen fish and oven chips.

I rarely have to do a top up shop, and we have minimal food waste.
