Murder house

My guilty pleasure is true crime and I've often wondered with family murders wether I myself would actually move into a house where a murder/s have taken place? In the watts case ( Chris Watts) they did have a beautiful house in an affluent neighbourhood... would you or do you live in a house with such a dark history?

I used to drive past a house, to & from work evert day, and always thought of the poor victim without fail. I think I'd find it too sad to live in a house where someone had been murdered.

I do find true crime programmes very interesting, though, especlially the ones where you see the actual police interviews with suspects. I find the glib lying quite staggering, tbh.

There was a murder / suicide round the corner from us last year and we talked about whether we'd ever want to live in the house (it's a nice street; the house wasn't well-maintained though, so would also need loads of work). We both said it would depend how it felt inside, as it could be quite unsettling, or it could be fine.

I did. it wasn't a "famous" murder and it happened in the early 50's. A local woman was killed by her husband in the house that exDH and I lived in 40 years later. Never got any creepy vibes from it at all, in fact, had we not divorced we'd probably still be there now.
