Child struggling to say the right word

Hello, not sorry I'm not sure this is the right section to post this.

I have a DD, almost 5 yo, at Year R. She's been an early talker, her speech always developed nicely, her pronunciation always great. Recently, I would say 6, 7 months her speech worries me. She very often says the wrong word, then corrects herself. But it happens so often it frustrates her and me too. For instance: 'I've got a toilet in my pocket...I mean chocolate in my pocket'.
'My friend Hanna told me this...I mean Yanna told me this'.
'My mouth is blocked...I mean my nose' and so on.

This is happening more and more frequently and I'm not sure whether she is tired or these are signs for something else? Her grammar seems to deteriorate and she often says thins like get my hand out of the way when she means get your hand...or things like 'I teld you'...'I mean I told you'

Can anyone relate? It worries me that it happens all the time and her speech should be improving at this age.

I would say wait it out. Correct her if she struggles. Dd started writing with her left hand in reception and switched to right later I found out the teacher was left handed in reception 😂.

Most of their talk at early primary is learned from their fellow class mates . Dd used to say yellow probably untill she started calling it nannow as one of her friends did. I used to Smile and keep correcting it by saying well ...I know you can say yellow and making her repeat it.

Interesting, I'll wait and see.

Her friends are actually quite well spoken, well the ones I know. I don't know all the children she plays with at school.
