Would you speak to the mum about this?

DS is 14. He gets the bus home from school about once a week. Last week one of his old primary school mates was on the bus with his older brother. The older brother held DSs rucksack as he was trying to get off the bus which made him miss his stop (only 5 minutes extra to walk). This week he threw a tampon at him.

DS is laughing it off and has told me not to get involved. I'm pissed off though. I have the mums phone number. I won't contact her but I really want to! WWYD?

I should add DS isn't friends with his old primary school classmate.

I’d respect your kids wishes and not treat him like he is five and make it worse for him/

Yes I'm going to. I did say I wouldn't contact her. I'm just interested to know what others would do.

Little shit needs bringing down a peg or 2!

I would leave it and let him deal with it. IME the kids generally sort it out themselves.

Great that he’s speaking to you about it, keep the lines of communication open.

No I wouldn't say anything unless it escalated . How old is the older brother?

Thankyou, yes I'm pleased he's telling me and I would never break his trust and get involved when he doesn't want me to.

Second year of A levels so 17/18.

DS gets the bus on his own whereas the lad hìs age has the older brother, the older brothers mates and his girlfriend with him.

Christ , you'd think he'd grown out of that shit at his age. He'll look back at it and cringe
What a prat
