So basically, something private has gone missing from my bed side draw.
I bought it to his attention as i can't remember when it was last there (say within 2-4 weeks)
Instantly rather than be concerned where this private thing could have gone, I instantly get "well don't blame my son or don't blame my nieces ".

I didn't.
All I did was point out it had gone but ONLY lives in that draw so someone has taken it.
I didn't mention any person.

I'm really annoyed and obviously concerned as to where its gone!
But annoyed in the fact I'm getting told I've said something I haven't.. AGAIN!

What ever I say always seems to sounds very very different to him to what has actually left my mouth 🤬

What are his thoughts on said toy?

Is he threatened by it? Quite possibly he has hidden it and waiting to see how long until you noticed.

When he says don't blame x or why say well that leaves you so where is it?

Kitty92 · 20/10/2022 22:39

I don't have a habit of blaming anyone!
BUT if I catch one of the kids doing shit regardless of its my family or his then I will say.
Like ive caught his nieces smearing vapour rub over the doors or pouring all my bath salts etc down the drain.
Yes, I will say something as its our stuff and not used for that!
But I at the same time will tell me child/family members off if they did something!

I also have a child that lives in the house full time, my point was he instantly assumed I meant his family.
I literally said that it's gone missing, I obviously know it wasn't me and if he is claiming it isn't him then it HAS to be one of the children as it doesn't just up and disappear!
