Migraines - riddle

Had them for 24 years, got much more frequent over the last 5 years.

I wake up with one 8/10 days.

Started sleeping downstairs in the heat - stopped getting them.

Discovered on a 10 day holiday only had a couple.

Sleep in my bed - get them again. I have very expensive memory foam mattress - 3 yrs old.

  • I've change my pillows,
  • Put 2 huge peace lillies and an orchid by my bed to oxygenate.
  • Make sure the window is open near me.
  • swapped sides
  • tried nasal strips

I'm going to get a blowup mattress and sleep next to my bed tonight and see.

Any other ideas before I ditch the mattress???

Heat up your room? Somehow temperature is helping.

Holidays could be "stress" you are more relaxed. Maybe eating differently?

I'd have a big look at diet, exercise, stress before changing a mattress.

And also the curable app helps with chronic pain and migraines feature lots in the case studies.

Good luck x

We had the air con on every night on hols, so it's not a heat thing.

The difference is; I sleep downstairs on the sofa / I don't get one, I sleep upstairs in my bed and I get one.....

The true test would be on your mattress downstairs. It could be something else in your bedroom, lights , position of your pillow, smell from a carpet.

Is it an anti-allergy mattress?

Ds gets migraines with his dust mite allergy. You can get anti-allergy covers for pillows and mattresses and he has an anti-allergy duvet. Makes a difference to him.
