I'm not well. I feel distinctly below par. (Not covid!)

DH said he'd pop to the shops to get me something nice to eat.

But I can't think what I want.

Any suggestions?

A bowl of petits pois peas and think bisto gravy. Never fails

Buttery toast and marmite.

Heinz tomato soup. Judging by this thread This country must run on it in cold and flu Season.

White toast with proper butter.

Banana custard with nutmeg

Jamaican ginger cake

Golden syrup on wholemeal toast.

I'm not feeling great and had a lovely dinner of egg on toast. Trying to doze but I can't breathe properly to relax and my mind is whirring with work.

Curry or pot noodle.

Sod nutrition, it's about waking your taste buds up.

Vege or chicken broth with crusty bread and butter.

Lucozade and boiled sweets. Werther's or pear drops. Something nice that can just sit in my mouth and dissolve over a long time with no effort from me. 🤣

Tomato soup and a cheese sandwich

Pasta with melted butter, bit of marmite and cheese all stirred in. People turn their nose up, but it’s bloody AMAZING.

Oh yes.

That, or, chunky chips with tomato soup poured over.. yum yum.
