Speak to 111. You need medical advice.

Idyllicidealist · 03/10/2022 08:20

Get medical advice ASAP.

Get off Mumsnet and speak to a medical professional. Obviously. 🤔

JenniferBarkley · 03/10/2022 08:30

I rarely bring mine to the GP never mind A&E, but I'd be getting advice on that one.

GlassDeli · 03/10/2022 08:30

Phone 111 now.

BluOcty · 03/10/2022 08:44

Legs numb is a possible sign of something serious and nobody would make you feel bad for seeking help about it. So yes 111 or straight to A&E.

Haveyoulosttheplot · 03/10/2022 08:55

Last time I checked mumsnet wasn’t a group of doctors. Please call 111 at the very least.

GingerKittenTail · 03/10/2022 09:03

He’s now saying not numb but aching
I’ve got him to point it out on his body and he’s putting to the muscley part on both thighs

It’s obviously not a common symptom for a cold given you are asking about it

so don’t ask us - ask 111 or a&3!

why take the risk in not doing so?!

StillNotWarm · 03/10/2022 09:24

Aching, heavy legs, a temperature plus a dodgy tummy, and extreme tiredness were my first covid symptoms after a sore throat.

If he is drinking fluids, not got an excessive, uncontrollable, temperature and coherent, I'd look after him at home and monitor.

Cantthinkofanewnameatm · 03/10/2022 09:27

Have you done a Covid test?

BearPear · 03/10/2022 10:03

If you call your GP they should be able to advise (disclaimer, I work in a tiny medical practice and we prioritise children and at least check with a Dr if a parent calls in after we’re fully booked for the day)

waffless · 03/10/2022 11:08

Do a Covid test as well.
