What does your teen boys carry their money around in?

Wallets? Coin purse?
Mine just seem to put their money in their pockets and then are surprised when they lose it! They have fabric type velcro wallets. Was thinking of getting them nice leather wallets for Christmas, but wallets don’t seem to have coin pockets anymore. Timberland wallets with coin pockets are quite pricey.
Any current cool brands?

Sorry. I'll try again.

Ds1 uses Google pay.

Ds2 takes his card if he needs it. He rarely goes out and never has money anyway.

DS uses a wallet which has a coin pocket. He's also got one of those man bags which he puts coins in. We're out for the day today and he's stuck a tenner in the back of his phone case!

DSs call those types of bags "chicken shop bags" as that's what the drug dealers lurking round dodgy chicken shops use. Apparently.

🤣 I think they look awful, really poser but DS loves it.

DS1 uses a leather wallet without a coin section. He has a fabric one with a coin section, but doesn't like it. He used to just use his pockets, but dropped a £20 one day, and now uses a wallet. Doesn't have a card.

DS2 isn't a teen yet. Has a fabric wallet with a small zip section for days he needs cash.

Noone in this house has the ability to pay by phone.

They use mostly cash and the coins
in pockets (and in the washing machine trap!) is driving me nuts!

My DH has a very nice mulberry wallet that has a proud spot on the shelf in favour of a small card wallet that was only meant to carry his work pass and cc and now sports and origami arrangement of notes and receipts folded in half.

Maybe I should just shell out for the Fossil wallets with coin pouches.

They need student card to get on to school campus, bus id, bank card, train card and cash.

He uses Apple Pay

WeAllHaveWings · 02/10/2022 12:56

Ds(18) doesnt like anything bulky so has this card holder with id window that he uses for his driving licence, student card, nec card, bank card, occasionally a note or two if going out, a condom 🤣 and his tesco clubcard 🤣🤣. He keeps a £20 in his phonecase for backup.

He very rarely has change as uses contactless or applepay. If he has any goes in his pocket, then gets emptied into a jar when he gets home.
