Hiding out in my bedroom on this fine morning what are you doing

I am staying out of the way while my fosterling plays with his new parents, this time next week it will just be me in the house as, hopefully, the transition to his new life and home will be complete. I can't pretend this is easy because it's not, he has been here for over two years but he has been found the best match possible.

What does today hold in store for you?

Well, the day was a success, he had a great time, his new parents had a great time, he ate the dinner they cooked for him, enjoyed his bath and went down to sleep for them like a dream. I think his parents left here on cloud 9 tonight. Now to repeat it all tomorrow, I am heading out to see my DD for the day and they are coming to live in my house for the day again. Fingers crossed it goes just as well.
