I have had a filling fall out last night. I can't find an NHS dentist. The filling fell out in one piece. I am considering buying poligrip for dentures and sticking the filling back in. Will this cause any issues?

I hope that you manage to get it sorted, let us know how you get on.

Thanks. I have bought a temporary kit. Got nowhere with NHS 101, I have to keep ringing back until things get really bad and I will get emergency care. Abscess here I come.

And temporary fillings do not last long. I am not going to be able to get to an NHS dentists say in a weeks time.
It could be a long time.

I got a temp filling when I was pregnant with my eldest..... She's now 15 and the filling is still there too..... 😂

@CombatBarbie I think that you should have an entry in the guinnness world records for the longest surviving temporary filling.

How is your tooth today @antelopevalley, hope you have managed to get something sorted.

DP used a temporary filling kit years ago and the filling lasted until a dentist removed it after a number of years - he complimented DP on his filling skill!
