Please can you advise me on the best options?
DC2 will probably be walking but only just, DC3 obviously brand new.
Ideally I don’t want to spend thousands as I can’t afford it, don’t really need a travel system.
Prefer something that fits through doorways, isn’t huge when folded and is suitable from birth.

Has anyone used the out n about nipper Or joie twin from birth? It doesn’t seem very newborn friendly. They also front face, do newborns need to face me or can they face out?

Thanks!!

The out and about nipper is brilliant. You can get a carrycot for the baby that fits on it. I’ve had one for 7 years now that I bought second hand for £150. It’s now on my baby #4 and it had at least 2 children before I bought it.

You don’t need to spend thousands get one second hand mine was as good as new

Whoneedsleep · 28/09/2022 13:34

@Recycledcurtains I always buy second hand 😄

I was looking at the bugaboo donkey but even those second hand are £600 ish which is a lot on top of the rest of the baby things we need!

@Recycledcurtains Do all of the models allow a carrycot or just specific ones? It’s definitely top of the list!

I had a babyjogger city mini for my 17m gap between 2 and 3. 2 was a great walker but not hugely compliant. Meant I was able to get in sync afternoon naps out of them which was epic.

I loved it so much I bought again 10yrs later for 22m gap between 4 and 5. Was able to get the bassinet that time too.

@MumofThree3U4 that looks great! Do your kids like sitting on it? Would it work for any length of time? It would mainly be for the school run that type of thing as if DH and I are both there we could use two prams.

@Whoneedsleep I have the out and about nipper (the 3 wheeler one) and the carrycot definitely attaches (although you do need an adaptor.

Its excellent, very light to push. It’s fair large still when folded, but folds flatish, it’s just wide.

Ive never encountered a door I couldn’t get it through.

We have taken it on holiday and my then 5 year old used it, so it’s big!

I’ve had it for over 2 years now and it’s still going strong. I use it for the school run, plus it’s been all the way around theme parks, zoos, etc. I have a baby now and my 2 year old and 3.5 year old tend to take it in turns if we’re out for the day.
