Toddler sleeping bags? Is this still ok?

What do your 2 year olds sleep in please? I confess we are still using sleeping bags, as he's a proper cheeky monkey and would no doubt throw a duvet off (tries to find any excuse not to go down to sleep). I feel like he's too old for a sleeping bag but it works. How long can we get away with using sleeping bags for / what age are you meant to switch?

Also what kind of tog are people using?

oh op you might not be taking the bars off yet but wait until he learns how to climb them then you'll never have a good morning again 😂plus 2/3 is when you get them a toddler bed or a normal bed with sides

Your 5 year old???- why not just give them a duvet

Because he likes sleeping in a sleeping bag?

He's been in a bed with a duvet since he was tiny, 18m or so. We just recently discovered on holiday that he prefers a sleeping bag.

They do them up to about age 4 in Germany.

If it works don't fix it.

He has a toddler bed but it has bars in the side which can be removed. It's low to the ground so not like a normal cot. No way he could climb out and he can climb over most things.

He's still in a cot. I'm not taking those bars away for a while yet!

Can he climb over. My little one was similar age when they learnt to climb over the bars. If yours isn't a climber you'll be ok but keep an eye out.
