My friends and I (all in our 50's) recently went on a bat walk, organised by a local ecology group, which was fun.
There are guided graffiti tours in London, which I would like to do.
Llama walking.
Chocolate making.
A friend hired a local artist to come and give her group a lesson, and they all painted something similar to the artist! I forget the cost, but it wasn't terribly expensive for a group of ten.
Christmas craft making session. Would probably need one of you to organise, and take charge of craft supplies.
Chocolate/wine/cheese tasting sessions at one of your homes.
Cinema trip.
Spa day.
Riverside walk, and a pub lunch.
Ten pin bowling.
Pitch & Put, or hire a bucket of balls at the golf range.
Flight Club. There is one at London Victoria, but it is a chain so there may be one closer to where you live. I know my DD went to one in Bristol.
Pub Quiz.

What are you all into? You could do an escape room / paintballing / spa day / quad biking / theatre trip / bike ride / hike to a great pub / comedy night / go to a gig / theme park / gin & fizz festival / wine tasting at one of the many vineyards in the South East / shopping trip to a designer outlet place ./ yoga retreat / gong bath / cooking class or bread making class (in Brighton you can do bread making with Jurgen from GBB!Grin)

.. done lots of these with friends, good fun and sometimes good to try something different! Or.. go to the races / a sporting event / Goodwood / a driving day.. loads of things you could try!

Or you could do a charity event together - walk the walk or the moonwalk (although I wouldn't say the moonwalk I did was "fun" exactly, but we had lots of laughs training for it!

Depends on the size of the group / fitness levels / shared interests - I always find that if someone arranges something people will turn up to do it! You could just host a lunch at a restaurant but make it more interesting by saying everyone has to wear a silly hat or bring a gift for someone else

Thanks for the fab ideas. Just felt in a rut. There’s only a few of us so we need something fun but not something designed for massive groups.
flight clubs look interesting (though I did Initially read it as fight club)!
