Buying clothes from QVC

I've never bought anything from QVC and now I'm intrigued. While searching for petite clothing online, I found that Dannii Minogue designed a range of clothing for them last year, and there's a jacket I might be interested in.

It's just not a company I've never considered buying from before. It's always seemed so strange. What am I letting myself in for?

I've never bought clothes from there but plenty of other bits. I've always found the customer service really good so I can recommend that side of things.

Can you just buy stuff normally, not like those catalogue sites? As in, they don't do a credit check or anything do they?

I bought a Joules dress from there - It was end of season and the only place to have the one I wanted in stock.

It was no different to buying from anywhere else.

Ive bought several clothes from them, especially when they used to do Indigo Moon. Good quality, well made.

It does cost you to send things back though!

I use QVC quite a lot for beauty stuff. Never had an issue their CS is excellent and you get a 60 day no question, money back guarantee. Only thing I sometimes find is postage is a bit high and you have to pay for returns.

JohnsShirt · 25/09/2022 12:03

I've bought beauty/hair stuff before, oh and a mop which was crap, but it's fine to order from

tectonicplates · 25/09/2022 12:04

How do you go about paying for returns? Do they deduct it from your refund?

Have bought several things from there - not clothes though tbf. But beauty stuff, electric stuff. It seems fine, you can return stuff up to 60 days and get your money back, pay in instalments interest free. Good communication from company. Better than you can say for a lot of other retailers these days.

You use the post office or a courier if easier.

Blueberrycreampie · 25/09/2022 22:13

Yes and return postage is often a lot cheaper than they charge their customers for delivery!

Kezzie200 · 26/09/2022 06:30

They used to do a Kim and Co range which was stretchy and nice and easy to buy online. They weren't cheap though! And then there was delivery on top.

I used to watch a bit of QVC when kids were young and get presents for the family from there as it does trigger ideas. I guess it's a fab sales strategy to build up a desire for things you never knew you wanted or needed!

dontgobaconmyheart · 26/09/2022 08:48

They have a website, it's literally just the same as buying from any other shop except they have a shopping c

dontgobaconmyheart · 26/09/2022 08:50

Oops- shopping channel as advertisement. I'd just use the website and then you can read the T&C's if you feel inclined.

Their returns policy is great but you do pay the return postage which generally isn’t too bad. I’ve bought a few beauty products that I’ve used for a couple of weeks only to discover that I am sensitive to an ingredient and returned them no questions asked and received a refund. My mum’s friend buys a lot of clothes and the items always look lovely.

NeedWineNow · 26/09/2022 09:27

I've bought loads of things over the years ranging from clothes to beauty.products to stuff for the home. Yes you do pay postage on purchase and returns which can add up so I'm a bit more careful with the impulse buys but I do agree that their customer service is very good along with their returns policy of being able to send anything back. I've definitely appreciated this when trying out new products.
