To feel disproportionately disappointed and let down by Fi and Jane leaving the BBC

I am a Fortunately obsessive, feel like Fi Glover and Jane Garvey are broadcasting genii and legends. Now they’re “selling out” and moving to Times Radio (who knew that even existed!) I am bereft.
Half of me feels -
good for them, taking the job that pays well and is best for them!
but most of me feels like I’m being dumped by my best friends.

anyone else care to join me? Or tell me I’m ridiculous. What do you think of it all?

@Alwaystired99 Fortunately is going on , every Friday. I love it but can see why they wanted to move on , it’s not as challenging as live radio and they are both still at their peak.

I think Fortunately is only until the end of the year though. I'm quite liking the daily podcast.

I'm not loving the new podcast - I listen to Fortunately for them chatting to each other, not the interviews, and the new format seems to be more interview and less chatting. I suppose that might change though so I'll keep giving it a go for a while.

Times Radio is alright.

I'm still a John Pienaar fan.
aS for The Fortunately pod... I loathe it!! As a mid50s woman, aren't I supposed to be their target? Yet I couldn't find a single charm when I tried to listen to it. I even like FG & JG individually, but their pointless natter... omg. Find me some eyeball pins please.
