As I understood it, the whole property had been previously split up into flats/maisonettes/smaller houses. Boy George owned the largest central section (that was still a house) and he has gradually added to it, eg buying the part that Sam Smith once owned eventually turning it back into one house....

He has lived there forever and would have paid a fraction of the price for it, Sam smith may have lived there with him but it has been boy George’s house since Culture Club days so probably about 40 years
