So we are to be the equivalent of god parents (different culture) and mother in law has just pointed out we need to buy something small for the parents and grand parent too. Now I’m travelling by plane so plants out although I could go nursery there. So what In offensive thing can I give?

Ask someone of that culture what would be the usual types of gift?

What culture are we talking and perhaps someone here will be able to make suggestions?

If you're going on a plane something British themed perhaps? English Rose handmade soap and some shortbread for the parents, a teddy bear with a bearskin hat, or some kind of literary character, a Jemima Puddle Duck, or a Paddington teddy? Book of English fairy tales?
