Panna cotta

I love this but I’ve never made it. I thought I’d give it a whirl. Found a recipe. But, it says you need moulds that are 125ml. So I trotted off to the web, where everything I found gives me dimensions in height, etc. I’m struggling to work out which ones I need. Or are they pretty much standard size? Anyone know more than me on this? Advice welcome, and recommendations.

You can use any moulds for making pannacotta. I personally use the GU pots but even if you had them in a standard bowl it would still set.
Don't overthink it.
Make the mix and give it a whirl....ps I love pannacotta!

Just a standard ramekin would do or anything really, I often make them in tea cups. Or just one big jelly mould then scoop out individual portions.

Measure out 125ml of water into a jug and then use that to test out your moulds or containers?

I don’t have any moulds at the moment - not the ones they have in the picture. I didn’t want to buy something the wrong size. I’m a bit nervous, never having made them before! I’m not an instinctive cook at all so follow things to the letter until I’ve got my head round it. If it says “Use this mould in this size” I like to do exactly that in case changing the size changes the way they cook or something!
I’ve got GU pots though. If they work I might screw up my courage and try that.

Meanwhile, Masterchef need not await my application.

I use tea cups. I've even used a large mixing bowl and made one giant one.
