Hello, what age would you say this game is suitable from please? My 6 year old is hassling me to get it for them.

My daughter played from around the age of 8/9, she’s 12 now and will still play it occasionally. If your little one has friends that already play on it then it’s just another form of socialising for them.

The only thing I would say is it can be quite upsetting at times, my daughter had quite a few tears about trading but the other person just took her stuff and left. On one occasion someone kept putting her character in a pushchair against her will (I’m not going to lie, I really had to try not to laugh) which got her very angry.

Oh and be prepared to spend your hard earned money on robux!! Other than that I’ve always been happy for my daughter to play it

That’s really helpful, thank you! The pushchair thing made me laugh too, bless her 😄

Mine was playing it at 6 and still loves it now she's 9, a lot of her friends also play so they meet up on there.
,
As a pp said they can get tricked into trading things and then regretting it and mine have learnt the hard way that they can't trust random people online, from what I gather the person will offer an exchange and then once its handed over they walk off and don't give the item they promised.
I'm really not up on it but there is a safer way where the item they want and the item they are offering is sent as a trade request which can be accepted or declined, as opposed to just saying in the chat 'give me xxx and I'll give you xxx'.

The things they usually trade are really random animals that they hatch from eggs, such as a rare, neon, fly-ride, red panda! Totally rubbish but the kids love it

Some games are really weird and inappropriate but most are harmless. Just supervise.

Mine has played it since age 5, we got it in lockdown and she added her friends from school. I keep the parental controls maxed out so she can’t view public chat or trade/interact with anyone who I haven’t approved as a friend. I also keep check of the games she’s playing so they’re all kid friendly. She really enjoys it and the way she intuits how to play is super impressive. I can’t always figure out how to use the controls but she just gets it instantly.

She’s also aware she can only buy Robux with her pocket money, so she has to think carefully before buying it.

My DDs play it. There is a rule they cannot friend people they do not know or accept random friend requests. They are also not allowed in the chat. So basically known friends only.
