Is this a good or bad day for someone trying to lose weight?

Breakfast:
Bowl of fruit and fibre (standard Kelloggs variety pack size) with a few added raisins and ss milk.

Two slices of brown bread, no butter. With baked beans and two poached eggs.

Small orange juice and one medium decaff coffee.

Lunch:
Nothing - out walking for hours. Hence bigger breakfast.

Dinner:
Medium sized jacket potato, no butter. Filled with tuna and sweetcorn (had to buy the sandwich filler one as away from home and not much choice, so probably contains mayo). Salad consisting of shredded carrot, lettuce, spinach, coleslaw and beetroot.

Desert:
One high protein yoghurt 83 calories.

Exercise:
Walked / jogged 7 miles in total, over 13k steps.

(Yes I could google it all but I prefer human opinions. Thanks).

These days I keep lowish carbs ( just for one meal) and 16:8 intermittent fast .. no high sugar items ( juice/ sweets/ cakes) alcohol is gin and soda

Definitely don’t drop the egg! Cut out the empty carbs - cereal and bread. The jacket potato is fine, consider switching to sweet potato as more nutritious.

WIth the amount of activity you did that day, that food is absolutely fine and you'll have burned off a lot of it.

I wouldn't worry too much about those saying about the protein/ fat/ carb balance.

You did lots of exercise anyway and burnt it off.

If carbs are what your body craves, perhaps you need to look at the nutritional value of the carbs you are eating…
Fibre and Fruit gets almost all of it’s calories from sugar. Dried fruit is concentrated amounts of sugar. (Yes it’s natural, but it’s not overly nutritious.)
Baked beans are high in fibre and pre-biotic. Great for gut health. Cooked tomato has increased antioxidants. If you could try making your own baked beans (tinned cannelloni beans, black beans or kidney beans are fine if you CBA soaking and cooking them like me), Diced fresh tomato and onion cooked, puréed and simmered until it thickens. (Add Parmesan or Basil for extra kick.)
Corn is remarkably high in sugars. You might do better with peas. (Still sweet but green veggies better.)
Tuna is fab. Maybe swap potato every second time for sweet potato as it has more antioxidants and minerals. (Lower carbs too.)
Mushrooms are fabulous (only plant source of vit B12). Low calorie & carb, filling and delicious.

I will admit that I have been more successful sticking to a very low-carb diet. Calories are not restricted and you naturally tend to eat nutritious foods. (I lost 65kg, so it was what worked for me.). I found the first week hard, but after that simply didn’t think about food unless actually hungry.

You need to work out your BMR, what ever that is you need to be in a deficit of that number. You don't then get to use the calories you burn to 'buy' more calories.
My guess is that's more than 1500.
Special K with milk - 203
Raisins - 130
2 eggs - 142
2 toast - 150
Baked beans - 100
Orange juice - 115
Coffee - 110 (if a latte)
Lettuce - 15
Carrot - 40
Potato - 110
Coleslaw - 120
Beetroot - 136
Tuna mayo -415 (if you had the tub)
Yoghurt - 83

Frightening how things add up. 1840 (roughly) don't see it as a good day or bad day, just a day but deficit is the only way to drop Kg's good luck !
