If you were planning a 3 day honeymoon in November where would you go?

As the title says really. We were planning to go to Finland but when we went to book it today were told that it’s too early in the season to do any activities that we would have liked.

We don’t care about it being warm or cold but most places seem to be just a bit grey and rainy! We’d prefer to stay in Europe.

We want to do something that will feel special and more than a usual city break. Budget is 2-3k.

I went to Venice in November; it was cold and wet but there were very few tourists and getting around was quick and easy. I would recommend it but I'm not very weather dependent .
Seville is a perfect size for 3 days, Rome is fantastic and shouldn't be too cold. Although I love Florence it seems to be busy year round and this is less relaxing if strolling around the boulevards taking things in is your plan.

We went on a honeymoon in February in Ireland and it was lovely. We stayed in a B&B in Co Wicklow near Avoca. (I won't say the exact one as it was 22 years ago so might have changed. Plus I can't remember which one anyway.) Also travelled to Galway which had a very nice atmosphere and was sunny. I found it quite romantic. The B&B owners were friendly.

Andalucia, then either a city break (a trip to the Alhambra in Granada would be suitably romantic for a honeymoon) or you could do hiking in the National Parks if you fancy something more active.

I would go to Marrakech, Seville or Grenada. Not too far, warm weather and lots of lovely architecture and food.

Budapest

Colmar. It would be beautiful and wintry. A bit French and a bit German.

Cyprus is lovely
