Any Christmas cake experts?

I just need a little bit of advice regarding baking my Christmas cake - not yet but I'm prepping soon.

For the pasta few years I've following Mary Berry's recipe and it's been lovely (there's only three in the family that like it) and I'm wanting to make another one for my PIL but there's only them 2 and a large cake isn't a great size.

If i make the recipe up as usual, can I split the mixture between two cake tins? If so, what kind of size tins do I need?

For reference, this is the recipe I use -

I think you’d need much smaller cake tins , maybe 5 inch if you can find them , then making sure they’re lined well , and wrapped round the outside of the tin too , possibly turning the temperature down a bit too , and the baking time will be less
I remember DD making Christmas cakes in bean tins at brownies
found this , and thought it might be helpful

I made mine last year in loaf tins. I made some for other people, and it made it much easier than making a big one and cutting it in half. Obviously, didn't take as long to cook either. I wasn't sure how long it would take to cook, so was just winging it really.
