Moved into new rental. Shower glass caked with hard water stains. Tried bar keeper’s friend and a scrub daddy many times to no avail.

CIF cream (or a cheap version). I've always used it on my bath but tried the screen this week and it was great

Either the Hg one or Viakal. Then use a shower spray every day after your shower to stop it building up again.

Of you can find it, limescale gel is brilliant, can't remember the name of it but it's thicker than viakel so sticks to the area for longer rather than draining straight off

If you're going to use something thick like harpic, be really careful. It's a proper acid and you do need gloves and to protect your arms if you are really going for it.

Nancy's toilet magic

Nancy Birtwhistle recipe for the loo but works really well on shower screens (and lots of other stuff). In her book but probably online too- she is on Instagram.

HG or Kilrock are the only two that have ever worked on my limescale. I actually prefer Kilrock but they both smell quite strong....so keep a well ventilated room

Half a lemon, though as said previously it does take time

@Purpleguitar

I've heard that before. And it doesn't scratch the glass?
