People who act and speak like everything you do is crap, but they will go off and do the exact same thing and act like it’s amazing?

When you go somewhere on holiday it’s a rubbish place etc but then they go there and labour on about it?

I know people say it’s bitterness and jealousy and so on; but is there a specific name for this behaviour?

How about:
Divine influencers/King Midas - their presence makes everything infinitely better/turns to gold OR
Arsehole Thomas - like doubting Thomas in the bible but without the benefit of the doubt.

Sounds like my brother. I tend to call him a twat. Wink

🤣🤣

Pretty much sums it up.

I know what you mean OP.

And they don't even allow you to talk about what you are saying because they've decided it's crap and every time you try and carry n you're shut down.

This is my sister. I don't think it's jealousy because she's cock sure of her own self importance but rather a need to remind you she feels she's more important.

She however doesn't do those things I've done. She'll do something parallel which doesn't offer those things she said she wouldn't do what I did because it wasn't offered 🤦‍♀️

Is it belittling?

Some people have to push others down to keep their own egos afloat?

That’s the first part.

With the second part when they tell you about how they experienced it was is far superior to how you experienced it or do they not even acknowledge that you have had an earlier conversation?

Grandiosity and delusion seem appropriate.
Add in entitled and arrogant and you have a nearly full house of Narc traits.

They completely forget. If you say oh we did that last year and you said it was shit, they’ll say oh did you? I don’t remember!

I have in laws like this. I could cure aids and they’d still find a way to say it was rubbish.
