Intensely itchy spots?bites? What are they?

I have a handful of really really itchy bites, I presume. Mostly on my torso. They've been there over a week, no idea what they are from. They are small but very very annoyingly itchy, what could have bitten me? Any suggestions for anti-itch stuff would be great too, they are driving me mad.

I think probably bites rather than rash, there are only 5 or 6 of them. Spread out on my torso (not in a line), and one in the crook of my elbow.
I have been low-level ill for several months after (presumed) covid in April, im seeing a doc about that in a week or so.
I'll check for bed bugs, spray indorex everywhere (I have a can ready) and try and get to a pharmacist

@BagOfGin just wondering why the bites continuing would indicate to you that it’s not bedbugs?

If it were bedbugs then my bed at home and the bed in Spain would both have happened to have bedbugs, which would be quite a coincidence. If the bugs were only in my bed at home then the spots wouldn't have kept coming when I was in Spain for 10 days, they would have begun to subside.

@BagOfGin ah I see, but bedbugs can potentially contaminate your clothes and then contaminate your own bed surely even after you left Spain? It Might be worth keeping an eye out for the signs and if you’re suspicious you can make sure you contain them and decontaminate. But of course if you had the bites before Spain, during Spain and after Spain it does seem like bedbugs would be less likely. If it was just during Spain and after it would be a lot more likely you picked them up there and brought them home.
Otherwise I agree with some posters suggesting it could be shingles, especially if you are in anyway run down.
