What to buy as a thank you!

We have been given lots of lovely preloved baby clothes from someone who's baby I believe is about a year ahead of ours.
We do not know this person... at all.
They are an cousin's, friend's, daughter! We have met the cousins friend a handful of times but never the daughter or baby!

We would like to give her a thank you but no idea what we should get? How much we should spend?
'We have had countless vests/suits/dresses and a few snowsuits/sleepbags

Thank you in advance!

I would say a token gesture would do the trick. They are clearly happy to see the things being put to good use. A heartfelt card with either a bottle of wine/flowers/chocolates/a plant would be plenty.

Maybe a bottle of wine, and something for their child? But only a token gesture really, especially if you didn't ask for the donations!

Thank you, I was thinking something along the lines of:
a nice card with wee letter from us/LO
a little hamper with some nice sweet treats/crisps/toddler treats/crisps - nice bath items for baby and mum, maybe spending about £40?
But not sure if that's being a bit of a cheapskate considering how much we've had!

I would just put a voucher in a thank you card

A photo of your baby in the clothes with a thank you card. Don’t buy an expensive gift as it takes away from her gift to you.

I would just send a lovely heartfelt card with photos of the baby in some of the clothes. It's not usual to thank people for a gift by sending them a gift. At most I would send some nice chocolates or a bottle of wine.

I give away my children's stuff all the time and am just thrilled that it can be put to use by someone rise.
