What mundane super power would you choose?

Something which other people can do but which somehow seems totally beyond you.

I would love to be able to organize my house as I go along rather than having a big sort out once in a blue moon.

I would also like to be one of those people who naturally makes friends with misc people they meet. The previous owners of our house were only here 2 years but they had a great social group including e.g. the guy who sold them rugs when they moved in.

I would love to be able to eat according to my natural appetite and not get fat

Aria999 · 09/09/2022 20:17

@Watchthesunrise I acquired that one last year 🙂 but it did require cutting out bread and most sugar which is not everyone's thing

@Aria999 now that's not in the spirit of the thread 😂

Aria999 · 09/09/2022 20:29

Lol sorry!

To remember people’s faces. I’m almost completely face blind and it’s so blooming embarrassing.

Gensola · 09/09/2022 20:34

To be one of those people who just always looks effortlessly put together and stylish rather than a short slightly chubby woman who has been pulled through a hedge backwards 😂

I'd like to not feel hungry when I cant be arsed to cook or even eat, but somehow magically feel full without having to move!!

Aria999 · 09/09/2022 21:09

@DelurkingAJ me too actually that's a good one.

It was bad enough before COVID but masks made it completely impossible.

It’s bleak but as I get older my thoughts turn more often to revenge. I wish I could inflict brief, severe (but not genuinely damaging) pain on people who:

Shout at random strangers from passing cars.
Have conversations in shop doorways.
Walk down the pavement towards me side by side as a couple when the pavement is not wide enough for three.
Get to the front of a fast food restaurant queue before deciding what to have.

etc etc etc
