Tooth chip DIY temporary repair?

I've just chipped a tint but off my tooth on some hard food. It not a front tooth, it's a couple of teeth behind the canine teeth.
It's now cracked all the way down the front and if I try I can lift part of the corner front layer slightly. This a is tooth that had a filling years ago.

I don't have a dentist as I found I'd been removed from the register after Covid. Waiting lists are 5 years here for NHS and I can't afford private as I'm on a reduced income currently. I used any spare income on private healthcare procedure recently. I don't think this would class as a dental emergency so I'm wondering if anyone could recommend anything to bond it temporarily.

A crack can propagate and get considerably worse when under strain (I.e. from chewing). The tooth is already weakened having had a filling. I would try to attend to see a dentist if at all possible.

Autocorrect - should have read 'tiny bit'

I think I could pull it off if I tried. I don't want to of course, as I don't know how much would come off exactly. The thought is making me queasy

There would be no chance of finding a dentist (even out of the surrounding area, I've checked) unless an emergency. I'm just not sure if this would be classed as one.

About a fifth of my back tooth chipped off just as we were into covid. I tried a couple of different temporary repairs but neither stayed in more than a few hours despite trying to eating on other side of my mouth. My tooth was very sensitive to start with, but luckily that sensitivity reduced as my dentist wouldn't see me and I had to wait 19 months for it to be filled, so hopefully if you've got any discomfort it'll reduce over time. I already knew from a previous xray that this particular tooth was cracked deep down, so surprised what's exposed and under gum lined didn't follow.

I've chipped off part of my front tooth now and my present dentist says he can't do anything. It's a bit routh but luckily doesn't hurt.

Thanks @ifonly4
It doesn't sound like it would be considered as a emergency then, or even priority.

It doesn't hurt as only a tiny piece of tooth (from the bottom I think) chipped off but there's a line straight down, where the crack is that lifts slightly. There may be pain if that comes off I suppose, and depending.

I was going to try getting some dental cement from the chemist later. I'll try even further afield for a dentist, but I've already tried quite a wide area anyway and it seems to be the same everywhere.

I can get an emergency appointment this evening going to a private dentist. I can manage the consultation charge (£70) but I'm worried about other costs if anyone has any idea about that.

Still looking for something NHS with no luck

I've discounted the idea of going private, it's not sustainable at the moment. I'm going to continue the search for something NHS.

Though the surrounding gum is very slightly red and swollen now, but still doesn't hurt. Does anyone have a recommendation for a dental glue that actually works to bond the teeth themselves. I've looked at reviews for the main brands and none of them sound much use.

So if it is moving, the dentist would numb it and pull it off anyway. No way to glue moving bits of tooth back together.
Options will include a crown or an extraction.
