Like I’ve heard a new boiler effectively pays for itself after about 7/10 years

I had a new boiler about 6 years ago to replace a 20 year old boiler but my bills didn't decrease.

We’ve just moved into a house with a 20 year old boiler. I was expecting to change it but an engineer said it was like the rolls Royce of boilers, well maintained and you could still get parts. He advised us not to change it yet.

It depends on how efficient your current boiler is and also your radiators.

I improved the efficiency of my heating by up dating my radiators as the radiators were older than the boiler.
