Pubic Transport.

AtLeastThreeDrinks · 04/09/2022 10:20

Nah, those things can jump. My friend had them and thinks she caught them off someone on the tube 🤢 does he travel like that for work?

Whatwouldscullydo · 04/09/2022 10:21

We need a bit more information. If he travels by bus or tube and works in a busy office no.

If he wfh and doesn't hit the gym several times a week probably a little.

Windbeneathmybingowings · 04/09/2022 10:21

Not if he commutes

pastabest · 04/09/2022 10:21

Would depend.

if you have other reasons to be suspicious yes.

if he is a teacher, or works with children no.

if he commutes on public transport, no.

if he drives to work where is the only person in his office and has no reason to come into close contact with anyone else's hair, yes.

Grin I can't work out if this was intended or not!

Draughtycatflapreturns · 04/09/2022 10:22

Depends. Are they knob nits?

rnsaslkih · 04/09/2022 10:23

I’d consider that he was shagging a woman who got them off her kids. That’s because I’ve never known anyone to have nits when there are no kids around.

Seeleyboo · 04/09/2022 10:24

Mother of 5 here and still battling the blighters. They don't jump however they can fall onto head rests etc and then crawl up clothing to someone's head. Are you positive no one else has them. I thought this with our latest infestation only to discover we all had them. They can be hard to find and sometimes avoid the combing. Buggers

That would follow a pattern. I have a very dry sense of humour.

Headline can't jump. Fleas can but headlice can't.

Buglin · 04/09/2022 10:51

I can verify that it happens because it happened to me out of the blue several years ago. I must have caught them from commuting on the train. DH and I have no kids and don't work with kids.

TheChippendenSpook · 04/09/2022 10:51

Headlines can jump out at you and grab your attention but obviously I meant headlice Grin

WeeOrcadian · 04/09/2022 11:36

It sounds like there is a backstory here.....

sheepdogdelight · 04/09/2022 12:03

No. Actually I'd probably assume someone else in the family did have them, but they'd just not been spotted.
