What do you do? I want to leave the NHS. I have good gcses, pretty good a levels and a undergraduate degree. I'm 30. I want to make good money. I'm looking at going to see a career advisor but just out of interest.

I don't want to say as it might be a bit outing.

Sunflowers2047 · 03/09/2022 17:26

People are just delightful on here aren't they. Thanks to the people who have done the simple thing of just saying what they do for a living. Didn't realise I was asking for the moon and had to give all my credentials. Yes, if you looked at this post along with my others it would be easy for the people I know on here to identify me.

It was a bit rude in your tone so just think about how you're speaking to people. Thanks. I'm not prepared to disclose what my role is as it's outing and thats my choice and perfectly reasonable.

There is no way somebody in a £30k a year job is going to put themselves by saying what it is! Or what their degree is in.

Alright wind your neck in. If you don't understand the thread based upon the OP nobody is forcing you to continue no need to be uppity.

I fully understand the thread thanks.
You don't get to police the thread, so wind your own neck in

I’m in NHS management - many roles pay £50k and above. You could work for a trust/community healthcare organisation/primary care/ICB/NHS England region/NHS national office. Look on NHS jobs.

luckylavender · 03/09/2022 17:53

@Sunflowers2047 @abovedecknotbelow wasn't rude at all. A good salary is not a defined term & we have no idea what you do. If you don't like the questions, don't ask for help.

Is there no opportunity for internal promotion?
