Eco Laundry sheets

Does anyone here uses laundry sheets instead of powder or liquid detergent?

I read an article about them but I don't know anyone using them in real life.

I use them. I get a packet of Earth Breeze sheets every 2 months. One packet does up to 40 loads (you can use either a half or a whole sheet). I'm very impressed.

I didnt get on with them as my husbands clothes still smelt after. They were good at things visibly looking clean but not so great with sweat smells for me.

The company suggested that I picked non fragranced ones so it could be that my other washing powder had a fragrance that i was used to try the fragranced version, which I never did.

They were very good at sending them out and stopping them so well worth a try.

Yes. Have used them for about 18 months now.

I just charged to earthen breeze (from tru earth) as they are cheaper.

Just seen some on offer from another uk vendor (one that sells useful kitchen /hone gadgets but I can't remember it's name ! ).

Thanks, I may try them out.

@AntlerRose Sweat is here an issue as well, DD's uniform is polycotton and stinks of sweat and DH runs. Some itmes only get clean with Persil Bio but ifI can reduce the amount of plastics to one bottle I am ok with it.

I have been using Earth Breeze for normal washing and it seems fine. Freed up a bit of space too on shelves. I still have specialist detergents IE: wool, sports but I would have used those anyway

I’ve had the same issue with them not getting sweat smells out. Not sure why because they bubble up well and things look clean. I just avoid using them on teenagers’ laundry now!

I've been use a brand called Melts for over a year now. They are brilliant. Aside from the environmental benefits, they support my disability too as I can't easily lift and measure traditional detergents.

I need Zoflora on regular basis to get sweat out of polycotton. It's the fabric which traps the germs. I avoid non-cotton if I can but stupid school rules make it impossible to get DD's uniform otherwise.
