How many loads of washing can you hang out at once?

I can just about squeeze 2 loads on our short line and the two folding dryers we have. Just wondering as I sometimes read that people spend the day doing washing but it doesn't really take that long so perhaps they are doing more loads? Or including ironing too maybe.
I'm moving soon and excited to have a rotary dryer for the first time. I know I need to get out more Grin

But I tend to spread them out more for better airflow, so fit 3-4 on

Up to 8 loads if it is a hot day. I start with the heavier, larger washing first that takes a while to dry (blankets) but takes less space so I can fit the other loads around it while they dry, and then end the day withe the lightest, easily dried loads (the sheets). In between I do clothes and space them for maximum surface area so they dry quickly. In autumn, 3-4 loads a day, and in winter 1-2. Everything else dries in our oil heating room.

3 large loads on the rotary, but I also have the peg dryer things, use them for socks, underwear, tea towels etc and hang on each of the 4 corners.

@PeloAddict that's madness! Nothing nicer than seeing washing drying outside (or is that just showing my age 😂).

3 at a time, on two long lines that run from the house to trees. I have a 11kg capacity washing machine.

I love pegging out.

Massive rotary line so 3 sometimes 4 depending on what's in the wash

I've got a 4 sides rotary line and it's a revelation! I've always preferred long lines but this one can fit 4 loads with a space between each line so things dry quickly!

I do like long lines of laundry but space is limited.

It's insane. One of my neighbours will report me so when he moves out dies I'll be putting my washing out
If the management company complain I'll point out cost of living and the fact they didn't allow space for a tumble dryer
Luckily my neighbours in the house think it's ridiculous so I just lift my airer over Grin
