Inspired by another thread about whether to get one.

I have one.

I've made yoghurt and air fried a lot of things.

I'm really interested to know if anyone has made any stews or casseroles in it.

Do you pressure cook it or slow cook it? Is there a difference to how it turn out?

Any recipes and timings for things cooked either pressure or slow cooked will be gratefully received as you can use cheaper cuts of meat which is a winner right now.

I have one too, I'm joining for tips or inspiration as I only really use the air fryer function, I have used the slow cooker function a couple of times for stew or chilli and it's nice and easy and comes out much the same as my standard slow cooker.

I've also made bread but it's easier and cheaper just to buy bread.

Dp pressure cooked gammon and it turned out well.

I pressure cooked a piece of beef once and I totally fucked it up.

It was like leather Ron the outside and raw inside. God knows what I'd done. I followed a you tube video. Mine was not a bit like the video. Hence me on here begging for tips and tried and tested Blush

@RoseDog

Can I please ask if you can remember what function, how long and what temp please.

I really hope someone comes along to tell us how to pressure cook stew and casseroles.

Dp done the pressure cooking and he just followed the book 🤷🏼‍♀️

I have slow cooked brisket in it, used the slow cook function for 7 or 8 hours on low, you can't really slice it, it just falls apart but is tasty.

We got it as an Xmas present and it just sat abandoned for a few months as I was a bit scared of it but now I'm going to try and use it for more than fish fingers 😂

God knows where the book is

I only had mine this weekend, I done lamb chops on the air fryer setting last night they were delicious and I have done a small (500grms) piece of gammon in it today on the pressure cooking mode , 35mins and 250 mls of hot water, I put in half a ham stock cube and an onion in as well for extra flavour , haven't eaten yet but it looks like it normally does out of my slow cooker. You can down load a booklet with timings from their website.

If your ok Facebook join the ninja cooking pages there are loads of tips and recipes on there.

I use both regularly, whether I slow cook or pressure cook depends on whether I’m putting something on before work or putting something on for tea. I Google the times every time I pressure cook though as can never remember.

Only time pressure cooking has failed is with a piece of gammon, I miscalculated the time to weight somehow (assume this is what you did too).

Just to update you the gammon was a hit.
