Looked in the mirror and realised I've got no waist anymore!

What was the turning point for you when you thought 'that's it, I've gone too far'

I've put on a lot of weight since having my last baby. No excuses other than eating sugar.

I am shocked. I went swimming today and no longer have a waist

Please tell me I'm not the only person to put on a ton of weight and then not realise really until one specific moment Blush

Me! About 6 years ago I realised I had gone up 3 dress sizes. Yeah I honestly don't know how I didn't realise as I would have had to have bought bigger clothes during that period. I went on medication that made me balloon. I hated my reflection and then spent a year dropping back down two dress sizes. For the first time in my life I was able to do one of those weight loss photos where I held my old trousers away from my waist and there was a good 4 inch space. I've since put on weight again from pregnancy which again I'm trying to lose.

Firstly I think you do have a waist and your figure is lovely, but I understand the feeling! Swimming is great exercise as well as walking which has really helped me in the past get back to where I wanted to be.

Thank you it's so hard isn't it?!

I didn't want to admit anything to myself but I am now very noticeably overweight and I personally think no waistline anymore. I look like that character from the nightmare before Christmas

Noticed I'm bashing into things too!

Ahh just see I did a name change fail! Oh well

Anyone who knows me will know I'm now much bigger lol

Years ago, I was about to send back some clothes and order a 14, but then realised I was on a slippery slope.

Last week's lightbulb moment was the arrival of new scales to replace my broken (and obviously lying scum) scales and registered 10 stone. My 'normal' weight is 9stone and I've known for months that I was losing my grip, but did nothing.
