Grass fed meat? Tim Spector book

Hello

Thanks to whoever recommended "why everything we have been told about food is wrong" by Tim Spector.

I'm thinking of buying less meat but better quality.

Do you get grass-fed meat? I can't see it in Tesco or Waitrose? Or is "just" organic ok? Do I need to use a butcher?

Thanks

Sorry, not a helpful comment but I recently read the book too and have also been wondering this!

We get ours from farm shops. Lots will deliver.

Grass fed and organic are different things. Eat British lamb, it’s almost guaranteed to be grass fed.

Just bought two grass fed thick cut sirloins from Lidl their steaks are excellent and a good price.

Grass fed in Lidl you say?! Might not work out more expensive overall then?!

Organic is better overall than simply grass fed, as organic standards regulate wider farming and ethical practices. There is grass-fed organic too.

For all things organic have a read of the Soil Association website as a starting point www.soilassociation.org/
