Can you really make good money selling pics of your feet?

My dd has been going on and on for weeks about selling pics of her feet on some sort of app. She had seen it on Tik Tok. Of course, I have said absolutely no way, she’s only 14.
Anyhow, today, on Radio 2 there’s a guy taking about how he has ditched his shoes and goes everywhere barefoot. He mentioned that on the side he also sells pics of his feet on an app where others sell photos of their feet. He said he makes £1000 per month doing this.
I must admit that my ears pricked up a little when he said that and now I’m staring at my gnarly old trotters and seeing them in a whole new light - ££££!
Has anyone heard of this, can you really make good (safe??) money this way??
Light-hearted of course but in the light of the economic climate and fuel bills financially crushing us I may seriously need to sign up for this app (I am slight serious here!).

My friend works in a charity shop. She says that there's a bloke who comes in most days and buys a pair of women's shoes. He buys the first pair he sees, doesn't even check them for the fit (so obviously isn't wearing them) , hands over his money and off he goes. Ewww!

Not lying! She sells her old shoes and sandals on ebay as wel. Sometimes they ask her to send skin shavings or old socks that she's worn to exercise in with them....it's a whole other world

I did know someone who made money from her feet.

She modelled shoes, toe nails with nail polish on, foot spas etc..

SilveryWrath I know, who’d have thought hey? Thing is that now I’ve looked that once, my Etsy suggestions are no longer homemade soaps and jewellery but bloody endless photos of feet and suggestions of ‘worn socks and shoes’! Urgh!

I was watching a TikTok about this last night just ewww. Joked about it with my best friend.

My 14yo DD wouldn’t know men get off on pictures of women’s feet, she’s just at the two people having sex stage, she doesn’t yet know about kinks nevermind wanting to sell pictures that’s worrying.

So I signed up to a website called FeetFinder, think it was like £4.99 a month. I lasted literally 48 hours before deleting my account. It’s full of absolute creeps (don’t know why I was surprised) but no one is there just for feet pics. Some of the requests I was sent are enough to fuel my nightmares. I’m not a prude by any means but it just wasn’t for me and absolutely not for a 14 year old.

Seriously, it's a thing. The grooming starts off as a teenage fad/craze on SM with dirty old pervs, posing as other teenagers, encouraging it.

I think it can be really hit or miss. I know my friend makes a lot selling her foot photos, and she wrote a book on how to sell feet pics online ... but its definitely something you have to commit to. Has anyone else had an success with the foot specific platforms?
