I’ve just bought a house 😊 Pretty regular for a large number of people but I wasn’t raised having a lot and I’m the first person in my wider family to own a property 😁

Tell me something you’re proud of yourself for at the moment 😊

Another driving one - failed test multiple times but persevered, ex crushed my confidence down so I hated driving and was practically incapable of it. Bought a car after divorce and now am a good driver - just did a 400 mile trip to see family this weekend.

I love my daughter and am doing well professionally but I am most proud of the driving as it was SO hard. I used to have sweat pouring down my face when I first started!

Well done OP and others it's great to see your achievements Smile

Mine would be getting my degree and subsequent career.

Went to a shit school, who told me I'd never make my ambition of being a primary school teacher, I'd not pass my A levels and sent me to go and look at the YTS scheme instead.

But I did, I went on to college, passed my A levels, was the first in my family to go to uni (back in the early 90s when not so many went), got a 2:i, and became a secondary school teacher. Now I teach just A level at a college, and always encourage my students to aim for the best they can. Have got a masters and am studying for my professional doctorate I think partly because I still have a hang up that I'm not clever due to secondary school. I know rationally it's not me, my friend was told she wasn't clever enough to do GCSE French, so she took it, got the A, did it for A level and got an A at A level too, just to spite them! Funny how these things live with you though.

Raising four kind, well mannered kids, three of them singlehandedly. Leaving shitty ex in the past and moving on to someone a million times better.

I can fold and repack a large pop up beach shelter in one go. A very large one at that! I am very short

How? Just HOW? I had to ask a passing stranger to stand on a bit to bend it so I could cram it into the bag. I was close to tears of rage and very hot by this point

It's all in the technique!
I watched the you tube video on how to fold the Lidl tent, and can do it in one go. It's about 6' wide.

The first time I used it I couldn't and had to walk along a Whitby pavement with kids and carrying this huge unfolded tent. The humiliation was a spur 🤣🤣.

Congratulations everyone!
im proud of escaping an abusive arse after 20 years and starting a new life 250 miles away.
