One person hinted that she might not be nice. Everyone else (me included) said that she wasn’t right for this in varying terms.

It would be a treat if they also got rid of IS and replaced him with Rob.

Does it even need a presenter? Can’t they just do the whole show by text? I mean, did Laura really add anything to the 3 or 4 times she was on screen? Not really

Well no, there were a could including someone saying "awful person" so I was just a bit surprised!

Doesn’t detract from the fact that most think she wasn’t right for the job.

Not Ekin, Maura or AJ. I would definitely switch off. They're not great presenters.

Really they only need someone for the odd one, just bring Ian in as he's there anyway.

But I totally would love to see Sam Thompson do it 😍😍 or Camilla Thurlow would be my fave ex contestant for it.

Thank goodness. She is horrible. Mean to the contestants, smug and a cold fish.

Whoever presents LI needs to be warm and someone who relates to the participants. That’s why Caroline Flack was so amazing.

Jorgie Porter would have been great a few years back.

Sam Thompson and Pete Wicks would be quite the twosome. I’d happily watch Pete strutting in to the villa.

Is so here for Sam and Pete. Feel like a real departure is needed here. I like LW just not for LI and I feel like comparison with Caroline was inevitable.

The whole show needs a different production team and bloody good shake up. It’s too boring and overly produced / contestants micro managed. It’s also too slow, full of repetitive slowly spoken filler. Spontaneity and letting things happen normally is the key. I don’t see why someone on the show doesn’t get that.

Speaking of Pete, I’d watch Megan hosting. A bit controversial I know, but she seems like a sound lass. when she didn’t have the baying Towie pack after her

I’ve started watching Love Island Australia from 2019, honestly it’s brilliant and puts our pathetic attempt to shame.

^^This. I said this yesterday. She is fabulous. Maya Jama as beautiful as she is and as much as I like her is not strong enough for this show.
We need someone like Nella Rose or someone of the same ilk as Davina McCall or Emma who did BB.
It would be good to have 2 people one on the ground abroad and someone else doing Aftersun in the UK. I even like the idea of Kem being involved. He is great on the podcast.

Joel Dommett would be good. I think Laura has had such a difficult task. Taking over from Caroline while she was still alive, dealing with her loss, presenting the final in South Africa just after she had died, having a baby, facing criticism of her performance. I’m not surprised she’s leaving. It’s all too much. It will be better for her to move on to other things.

Why not bring Sophie Monk from LI Aus? I love her!!!

The bother now is that they all give not one shiny lump about the love. Both contestants and current presenters.

It is all about the coin and influencing and endorsements with the contestants. That is what makes it a dull watch for me, not necessarily LW or IS (although a shake up might help).

It’ll be interesting to see who they pick for sure.
